Using the site

Using the site means accepting this page. Results are entertainment built on measurements of public web pages — not an audit, a ranking, a certification or advice, and nothing here should be relied on as a professional opinion about any website.

Anybody with an account can enter a public domain, including one they do not own. If your site is in the queue and you would rather it were not, it comes out: prove control of the domain on your account and remove it yourself, or ask from an address at that domain. A site that has already played stays in the archive.

What is sold

A tournament seat is a place in a specific weekend for a queued domain nobody else has claimed. It buys entry and nothing else; paid seats are labelled as paid. Stripe is the seller of record for a seat and issues its receipt.

A sponsorship is a named place on a specific weekend, shown with the name, link and logo you supply. Prices are net; VAT is added at checkout, and an EU business with a valid VAT number is reverse-charged.

An order takes a thirty-minute hold; an unpaid hold lapses and the place goes back on sale. Closing the payment tab loses nothing — the order’s own page reopens the checkout. A late payment still takes the place if it is free; otherwise the order waits, paid, until it is moved to another weekend or refunded. An order keeps the price it was taken at.

Refunds

Ask before the weekend is drawn and you get a full refund. After the draw is published a seat has been used, and after a sponsorship has been shown it has been delivered. A refund never unmakes a result. EU consumers keep their fourteen-day right to withdraw, except where the service was performed at their request in the meantime.

Sponsorship creative that is illegal, deceptive, or that implies an endorsement or a judgement of a website is refused and refunded. That call is ours.

Accounts, content and liability

One account per email address. An account used to spam the queue, game the vote or submit domains in bad faith can be suspended without notice. You can delete your account at any time — the privacy policy says what that removes.

The broadcast, the brand and the code are ours; the press files are free for editorial use. A logo you upload stays yours, and you let us show it on the weekend you bought and in its archive.

The service is provided as it is; a weekend can be delayed and a measurement can fail. Where a paid place is affected by a failure on our side, the remedy is a refund or a place on another weekend, and liability is limited to what was paid. Nothing here takes away a consumer’s rights under the law of the country they live in.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. An order is governed by the version current when it was placed.
